Please note: This is Day 1. You must enroll in Day 2 (no additional charge) to get the entirety of the class' content. This is separated this way so you can choose between have 2 days of class back to back, OR if you rather Day 1 and Day 2 a week from each other. It is HIGHLY recommended that you don't wait more than a week to retain as much content as possible.

*Each class is 1 HOUR & 15 MINS in duration. I allot for more time to account for class sizing (in case it's a larger class) and bathroom breaks.

This class is designed to help struggling teens with essential life skills; planning, organization, study habits, & time management techniques. Avoid procrastination. Build independence, self-awareness, & confidence!

Learning Goals:

Students will improve their understanding of how to keep track of their own assignments, chores, and responsibilities as a means to complete tasks and digital assignments.

Class Experience:

This two day organizational “HOW TO” workshop is designed to help learners that are struggling to keep track of assignments, due dates, study skills, and overall organization of their responsibilities.

I strive to make this course relatable, concise, informative, and honest.

This class is great for:

- identifying YOUR preferred learning style

- how to respectfully advocate for yourself in a classroom setting

- avoiding conflict with authority figures by communicating and asking for clarifications when needed

- understanding that these skills apply to planning and effective study habits

- these strategies will not only help now, but for years to come

- strategies to combat procrastination

- cultivating consistency and long-term success strategies

- students that have difficulty focusing

- neurodivergent teens: ADD, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder

**I will provide a blank digital planner with a link to access. Parents will have access to the same link to view or contribute to it. Students will have full range to edit the categories, fonts, and colors. It is for their personal use.

Say goodbye to procrastination! As kids transition into teenagers, expectations increase and so does the workload. Often times it becomes difficult to manage the extra tasks and keep track of our growing responsibilities. This is a way to independently encourage best practices. Students may take the class more than once if they have more difficulty mastering the skills needed for success in this area. I will demonstrate how I use planners, to-do lists, and other methods that I personally use and have taught hundreds of students to use to help hold themselves accountable for their responsibilities.

The goal is to encourage students to focus on their foundational strengths and get them to realize that they are capable of being more independent through guidance, consistency, and confidence in themselves.

**Please try your best to arrive on time. This is a LIVE class.**
